MSK-HRP-22 Vertical Hot Rolling Press features a pair of 100mm wide steel rollers with Asynchronous rolling speed control up to 200°C.  The separated control unit features a touch screen control panel. 

Its vertical rolling position allows users to "gravity feed" flexible films and produces shear force during rolling. Such a compact calendar machine can be put in Ar gas glove-box and is very useful for preparing flexible or dry battery electrode sheets for Li-ion / Soli Metal-Air battery research

Rolling Speed

  • Actual rolling speed: 2.6~65 mm /sec (Actual Speed = display value * 0.65 )
  • Two rollers are aligned horizontally and supported by the steel frame. Such a design allows users to gravity-feed flexible materials front above the rollers and collect at the bottom. (Pic. 1)

Operation Instructions    
Warnings
  • Never roll materials with hardness > 40HRC
  • The rolling machine can be used in the Ar gas environment.
  • Multi-step thickness calendering needed: While calendering the sample sheet, make each calendering decrement of 0.02mm compared with the sheet's original thickness.
  • Never calendering decrement over 0.02mm compared with original sheet thickness each calendering.
  • Clean the roller surface before and after each rolling process. Lubricate the roller surface when the machine is planned for idle to avoid corrosion.
  • It is not allowed to use any MTI product in any hazardous location, especially prohibited from using in Class I environments (flammable gasses & vapor).
