  • OTF-1200X-HPV-III is a high pressure and high vacuum split tube furnace with three heating zones.    Processing tube is made of Ni based superalloy, which offer a solution of heating treatment under both high positive pressure and high vacuum pressure with/without inert gas support to process special compound material.    The furnace can be heated up to max. 1100°C at 2.5 bar ( 900°C at 80 bar ).    Gas flowing system is vailable upon reuqest.

  • A pair of 63mm CF type flanges is included (w/ high pressure valve and 1/4 tube fitting)
    2 pcs Copper o-rings (99 O.D x 82 I.D x 2.2 mm)  are included ( spare cupper O-ring is available as cunsumable )
    One pair of water cooling ring , made of cupper tube , is installed on two ends of the tube ( > 10 liter / min water flow is required)
     
    Optional torque wrench is available here to avoid overtighten the flange bolts.

    The heating temperature must be limited by the certain pressure level due to vessel material strength.    Please refer to the specifications.
    The pressure is increasing while the temperutre is rising during operation.    So you need to calculate the pressure changing towards your target temperature and set a safe value of pressure during process.
  • Safety Notes
  • Ni based Super-alloy ( Waspaloy or equivalent) is a reliable processing tube which can be used under high temperature and high pressure.    It has excellent ductility and tensile property so only creep deformation happens under overpressure destruction test and following by a crack formed (usually at the hot zone at the center of tube) to release the pressure.    Brittle fracture won’t happen in the overpressure destruction test which means no tube explosion will happen under overpressure of gas

    Attention : A two stage pressure regulator must be installed on gas cylinder to limit the pressure to below 3 PSI for safe operation.    Please click here to learn how to install the gas regulator.
