    We are only supplier of truly uniform and monodisperse alumina ( aluminum oxide ) microspheres and nanospheres.    Our alumina nanospheres and microspheres have been used in various applications due to

    the size uniformity

    the high degree of particle sphericity  (as result, high flowability and high packing density)

    properties of alumina, such as high thermal conductivity, heat resistance, hardness etc.

    These particles often used as a fillers with high thermal conductivity, for example, those fillers for thermal conductivity sheets
     
    Properties of alumina microspheres and
    nanospheres :

    Size : nanospheres 100-950 nm, microspheres 1-100 µm.
    Solubility in water : insoluble
    Solubility in organic solvents : insoluble.
    Specific Gravity : 3.75 - 3.69 g/cm3.
    Crystal structure : crystalline, a-Al2O3 Corundum phase
    Surface area : less than 2 - 3 m2/g, non-porous
    Surface charge : positive (pH≤9.3) and negative (pH≥9.3).
     
    While the polymer and silica microparticles have been commonly used due to
     
    Functional surface alumina microspheres and nanospheres : Currently we offer alumina microspheres and nanospheres with plain , amino  and carboxyl  functional groups.    The alumina microspheres and nanospheres are also available on custom synthesis basis with other functional groups such as albumin, protein A, epoxy, NHS, NTA, EDTA et others.    Please ask for delivery time and quotation.
    They are useful for coupling of DNA, oligonucleotides, oligopeptides, proteins, lectines and antibodies.
     
    Dyed and fluorescent alumina microspheres and nanospheres : Currently not available
     
    Doped with other elements alumina microspheres and nanospheres : On custom synthesis basis we can dope these microparticles selected other elements with up to 2 %.    The doped elements could be distributed uniformly, internally or externally.
