LN-600 is special PTFE jar designed for milling material under extreme low temperature without iron contamination. The milling jar has 600 mL PTFE inner tank with liquid cooling jacket and vacuum insulation layer which allow the jar can be rotated under the temperature nearby LN.  It is innovative milling tool for grinding some materials which are too flexible or sensitive to be grinded at ambient temperature.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Structure

  •      •  600 ml  PTFE  jar  is located  inside the liquid N2 cold jacket and driven by two wheels (185mm Dia) on the two
end of tank ( Picture below - left)
  •      •  Liquid cold jacket is between inner jar and vacuum layer, which can contain 1.5-liter liquid nitrogen
  •      •  Vacuum layer is built -in the outside tank, which is for reducing thermal radiation
  •      •  The over-pressure safety relief valve is installed on the tank for worry - free operation.  If vapor pressure inside
            the tank is > 3.7 atm (
55 PSI),  the valve ( film type ) will be opened to release pressure.
  •      •  The tank can be used for any conventional rolling mill as long as roller has 150 mm- 185 mm open spacing,
which unmoved tank can be set in the center

Inner Jar Size

  •      •  Inner Jar ( PTFE)  --    O.D 92mm x I.D 79 mm x Length 127 mm
  •      •  Please review operation manual and video to learn how to install the inner jar

Milling Ball

  •      •  One set oof YSZ milling ball is included for immediate use
  •      •  Click Picture below to see detial specs of  YSZ ball

Working Temperature

  •      •  T-type thermal couple is built inside tank to monitor working temperature  ( temperature monitor is required,
            but not included
  •      •  < -130°C without heating gun
  •      •   -150°C Max.  with mini heating gun ( you may need order two heating guns to avoid rotating frozen )
  •      •  Please order dual mini heating gun at extra $500 if you really needed
  •      •  The lowest working temperature is depended on pre-cold condition and frequency adding LN- must pre-cold
tank before use, and add LN during using
  •      •  The Liquid nitrogen tank shall be operated under humidity < 48% environmental.  Higher humidity may cause
             rotating frozen

Dimension

  •      •  Weight:           10 Kg  ( 22 Lb )
  •      •  Dimension:       270 L x 185 W x 320 H, mm
( Please   click the picture to see  )

Optional

Automatic temperature control system

  •      •  You need a vacuum pump to minimize pressure inside the tank to reduce heat loss.  You may click picture
below -right to order the double stage pump
  •      •  You may need a temperature monitor to watch working temperature, please click picture below-center  to
            order one
  •      •  You need a rolling mill which has 150 - 185 mm open spacing between two rollers to operate the tank.
Please click picture bottom right picture to order one if you don't have a roller mill.
  •      •  You may need order a Liquid Nitrogen Tank to fill LN to the device automatically
  •      •  We can add LN solenoid valve with temperature control to achieve automatic LN delivery with temperature
control ( click picture at the left )

Warranty
  •      •  One year limited with life time support
